On 9 April, Shanghai Environment released an announcement, posting operating revenues of RMB 3.647 billion and net profit of RMB 616 million in 2019, up 41.19 percent and 6.65 percent year on year respectively. The company attributed revenue growth to the increase in revenues from construction contracts and the increase in the volume of solid waste disposal.
